What Exactly is Yoga?
What exactly is yoga? The word "yoga" is known by most everyone. At the same time most everyone has a different definition of yoga. For some, yoga is a deep connection with self and for others yoga is a workout. Does one belief over another make you a better yogi? No... Why would it? There are many things that mean something different to each person such as, running verses jogging or being healthy. Maybe. We need to embrace our differences as those difference are what make us truly unique. We also need to respect the opinions of others. So, yoga by definition means "union," "to join" or "to unite." Each persons practice is unique to them. We must not judge another practice. Let us all respect each other and their practice.
